November 2005 CGMP adopts ISO
8217:2005 standard for marine fuel sales On November 28, 2005, the new ISO
8217:2005 specification was announced to the industry.
While the adoption of the new
standard is not mandatory, CGMP anticipates the new specification will replace
the existing 1995 standard as a bunker transaction baseline.Therefore, CGMP will
adopt the ISO 8217:2005 standard as the specification benchmark for our marine
fuel sales worldwide.

April 2005 Chevron Global Marine Products takes a global position on Marpol Annex VI Chevron Global Marine Products will comply with all rules and regulations for those nations which have ratified the Annex and will continue as current in those nations which have not. The ratification by some nations of Annex VI may or may not affect the way bunkering operations are currently being conducted. Chevron Global Marine Products considers MARPOL Annex VI to be a guideline and in addition to, and not a substitute for, terms required by contract.
